The Oregonian is reporting Portland standout Terrence Jones will announce his decision during a news conference on April 23 or April 30.

The national signing period begins April 14 and ends May 9, but Jones said he's waiting because other prominent players are making their announcements early and he wanted the day all to himself.

He may also delay his decision to see where the other to recruits are going. Many believe if five-star recruit C.J. Leslie chooses Kentucky, then Jones will look elsewhere.

Jones, a 6-9 forward, has Washington, Kentucky, Oregon, UCLA and Oklahoma on his short list. He playing Saturday in the Nike Hoop Summit at the Rose Garden.
