ATHENS, Ga. ----- The No. 11-seeded University of Georgia men’s tennis team saw its run in the NCAA Championships come to an end in the semifinals Monday evening as the Bulldogs fell by a 4-1 score to second-seeded Tennessee in front of 2,817 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs end the season with an overall record of 21-8, while the Volunteers improve to 31-1 and advance to face Southern California in the championship match tomorrow at 6 p.m. on the Henry Field Courts. “I think we had a great tournament and I definitely thought we had it in us to win it,” said head coach Manuel Diaz. “To say that we were overachieving wouldn't be giving our guys enough credit.
