My weekly Sunday Snapshot blog gives me an opportunity to look back on my sleeper picks from the past week and rate their performance.
Adam Laroche
I recommend Laroche amid his great second half. However, Laroche hit a slump this week. He batted just .136, getting just three hits on the period. He didn't even add any power production for fantasy owners. It looks like Laroche's parade is over. He still deserves a look in deeper leagues for his power potential, but Laroche can be dropped in standard 12-team mixed formats.
Travis Hafner
Unlike Laroche, Hafner continued to produce on some level this week. Though he didn't maintain his .391 average from the past week, Hafner did hit .250 while adding a home run, two runs scored and two RBI's. Look for Hafner to continue to be a serviceable option in all mixed formats from here on out.
Hunter Pence
Pence went the way of Laroche this week. He batted just .160 on the period but did manage to add a home run, four RBI's and two runs scored. Pence still should remain active in most fantasy leagues for his speed potential; he did steal a base this week.
