There were five games in the NHL on Sunday including the second Stadium Series game between the New York Rangers and the New Jersey Devils.


Rangers 7 Devils 3

Henrik Lundqvist made 19 saves and Mats Zuccarello scored twice in the Rangers 7-3 win over the Devils in Yankee Stadium. Dominic Moore, Carl Hagelin, Rick Nash all scored goals while Derek Stepan scored on a penalty shot.

Martin Brodeur gave up six goals on 21 shots while Patrik Elias scored twice and Travis Zajac scored in the Devils 7-3 loss to the Rangers. Jaromir Jagr also chipped in with two assists, passing Mario Lemieux for 10th all time in assists.


Panthers 5 Red Wings 4 S/O

Tim Thomas made 26 saves while Sean Bergenheim, Jesse Winchester, Drew Shore and Brad Boyes all scored in the Panthers 5-4 shootout win over the Red Wings. 

Jonas Gustavsson stopped 33 shots while Gustav Nyquist and Daniel Alfredsson scored while Riley Sheahan and Tomas Tatar scored a goal and a assist in the Red Wings 5-4 shootout loss to the Panthers.


Jets 3 Blackhawks 1

Al Montoya made 34 saves while Blake Wheeler scored twice and Andrew Ladd scored a goal in the Jets 3-1 win over the Blackhawks. 

Corey Crawford made 18 saves and Brandon Bollig score the Blackhawks only goal in their 3-1 loss to the Jets.


Oilers 5 Predators 1

Ben Scrivens made 34 saves while Justin Schultz and Jordan Eberle scored a goal and a assist in the Oilers 5-1 win over the Predators. Ryan Smyth, Nail Yakupov and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins all scored for the Oilers.

Carter Hutton stopped 22 shots and David Legwand scored the Predators only goal in their 5-1 loss to the Oilers.


Canucks 5 Coyotes 4 OT

Roberto Luongo made 29 saves and Kevin Bieksa scored twice in the Canucks 5-4 overtime win over the Coyotes. Jannik Hansen, Chris Higgins and Zac Dalpe also scored goals in the win.

Mike Smith made 20 saves and Antoine Vermette scored a hat trick in the Coyotes 5-4 loss to the Canucks. Shane Doan also scored a goal and a assist in the loss.
