Personally, the start of the NFL Season with everyone’s enthusiasm for his or her team to win it all is the best. Then pairing that with the MLB Playoffs, which is probably the best post-season in sports. Makes the Fall, for me, the best time of the year for sports.

Not that I don’t love the Spring line up of major sporting events, but most of the sporting events in the spring means that sports particular sport is over. Baseball, Nascar, and Golf rule the summer. With nascar only on Sunday’s, golfing majors don’t happen every week, and baseball being so long, I think there is a big market for another sport to jump in during the summer.
