Odd question, especially when you're talking about Bo Pelini. He doesn't lack confidence nor does he seem unwilling to place high expectations on his team (Nebraska's back and the defense will be five times better next year, he'll tell you). Yet, as you look at these final weeks of recruiting, you wonder if he underestimated the appeal of his program to prospects.

Three years ago, I criticized Ron Prince for his haste in locking in so many two-star recruits so far ahead of signing day. Even to a program like KSU, two-star recruits are available right up until signing day. So what was the hurry?
