Enough of the serious stuff that's going on in Celtics nation today, let's focus on some fun stuff (for now). Yes the schedule was released, and yes Shaq us "officialy introduced". That's important and all but let's cut to the chase and get to the good stuff.
One of the funny quotes coming from Shaq's press conference today came when Shaq challenged Glen "Big Baby" Davis to a chowder eating contest. With both of them being from LSU, and both being players with very loose personalities I can honestly see this happening. Unlike the Rondo-Chris Johnson race we were suppposed to see.
Earlier today Big Baby decided to respond to the challenge on Twitter by saying, "Shaq can't beat me in a chowder eatin contest..".
We fans need to take it upon ourselves to get Legal Seafoods to sponsor this and get it over before the season starts. Maybe they can throw the competition into an episode of "Shaq VS" and air it on ABC. That'd be an episode I'd be glued to my TV for.
So, who do you think could devour the most New England clam chowder? The Big (fill in the blank) or Big Baby? I'm sure both of them can eat a ton, but given the competior that Big Baby is - my money is on number eleven.
