Shaquille O'Neal and Rasheed Wallace.. Two guys who were never ever on my good side before joining the C's. Although I loved the Sheed signing because I knew it would help the team, I struggled to get over my loathing of the player I had forever called a good for nothing bum.
Face it, there wasn't much to like about his basketball personality. He was fresh off quitting on his Detroit Pistons, constantly running his mouth on the court, and hitting what seemed to be every single big three point shot he took against my beloved Celtics.
So he signed and I was excited, but everytime I tried to say something good about him last summer into the early fall, it felt like I was cussing at my grand parents or something (aka speaking in a way I shouldnt.. I "should have" been saying "Sheed sucks")
Eventually it wore off and he 100% became a Celtic player that I completely backed up (when he hustled). How long is it going to take for me to come around with Shaq?
I don't really know. I don't expect long. He is far seperated from his time with LA, and the only time since then that has bugged me is last year with the Cavs. Cleveland and anyone on that team has been on my crap list for some time now.
I am an extremely biased fan and that is okay with me. Maybe I am the only fan who thinks this way.. but for some reason I highly doubt it.
