Vanderbilt took a step towards its first SEC Tournament title in 59 years with a 78-66 victory over Georgia. The victory helped erase a bad season series against the Bulldogs, which included a loss in Athens and a miracle overtime win in Nashville.

John Jenkins made his post-season debut a memorable one. The freshman sensation scored 25 points, 22 of which came in the second half. He knocked down five 3's to lead the way.

"Coach was telling me to go out there and be more aggressive," Jenkins said. "That's what I did. First time I came out kind of slow, trying to get myself into it. Second half I just really let loose."
