John Jay
The Cardinals outfielder may be the main benefactor of the Ryan Ludwick deal. With Ludwick out of St. Louis, rookie Jay looks to see everyday playing time. Jay has hit .396 on the year while adding 21 runs and 12 RBI's in limited playing time. Look for Jay to capitalize on his opportunity and cement himself in the Cardinals outfield for the stretch run.
Jack Cust
The Oakland left-fielder is on fire since the All-Star break. He's batting .323 with four home runs, eight runs and 11 RBI's. Cust is a guy who is available in nearly all mixed formats, making him a true sleeper who can be used as a stopgap option or potentially for the rest of the season.
Wade Davis
The Rays starter is doing everything he can to get noticed. Over the month of July he went 4-0 with a 3.03 ERA. Davis has become a solid option in all mixed formats and could even be considered a must-start in deeper mixed leagues. Look for Davis to continue to win as the Rays attempt to ward off the Yankees and Red Sox to take the AL East crown.
