Light heavyweight Ryan Jimmo (16-1) will make his long awaited octagon debut against Anthony Perosh (13-6) at UFC 149. The event is slated to take place at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary on July 21st.

The Canadian born Jimmo has turned many heads with a 16 fight win streak that included taking home the MFC light heavyweight title. Originally Jimmo was slated to make his octagon debut back in January at UFC on FX 1, but was forced to withdraw due to a training injury.

Looking to spoil the big day for Jimmo will be the Australian Perosh, who is riding a three fight win streak including victories over Nick Penner, Cyrille Diabate and Tom Blackledge.
