Is that Ray Rice? No it's J.Jamison

It was yet another tough game in Piscataway, NJ for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (8-3, 5-2) who faced off against the Cincinnati Bearcats (7-3, 5-2) in Highpoint Solutions Stadium. This was a big game because not only was it for first place in the Big East it was also Senior Day for the Rutgers playe rs. The biggest name on that senior list was Eric LeGrand. It was the best game the offense played all season, but the D once again showed up to play only allowing 3 points and shutting down Cinci's versatile QB Munchie Legaux and their star studded RB Isiah Pead. Rutgers run game finally got going with Jawan Jamison who had 34 carries for 200 yds. This was easily the best running game since Ray Rice was at Rutgers. This game was huge defensively though with Jones having a forced fumble, interception, and a sack. The stats that both these players put up on offense and defense it would be absurd if neither of them won the Big East player of the Week. They both played their hearts out. At the end of the game though not a lot of people noticed but Rutgers record breaking WR Mohamed Sanu was crying, believe what you want, but I think he is going to the NFL after this season. He is too good not to go, and Todd Mcshay's new mock draft has him as the #5 WR in the nation as a junior. The important thing about winning this game is that there a ton of scenarios in which Rutgers can win it's first ever Big East title and get a trip to a BCS game. The most important thing going into this week is beating UCONN. Let's Go RU!!! Be sure to check back next week to see if RU beats the Huskies and gets their chance at the BCS.
