Rumored Les Miles is Offered Arkansas Head Coaching Position

Rumors have it that LSU head football coach Les Miles has been offered the Arkansas job. The Razorbacks have made a generous offer of 27.5 million dollars for 5 years, according to SPORTSbyBROOKS.

If the offer has been made, the question must be asked, “Would Miles be tempted to take it?”

Clearly there is room for concern for Tiger fans. One of the harshest fan bases in the country, as opposed to the more laid back demeanor of the Arkansas faithful. While many Tiger fans seem to want Miles gone, the question has to be asked: who out there is an available option for the Tigers to become their head coach?

The simple answer: no one.

With that being said, another question should be asked: would Miles at Arkansas work out? Without the natural recruiting base of Louisiana he might take longer to get the program where it needs to be able to compete for an SEC on a yearly basis. It doesn’t seem a bit like a square peg trying to fit in a round hole.

By no means is Arkansas a better fit for Miles, but with the nice paycheck and the constantly ungrateful fan base, who knows what the Mad Hatter will decide to do. Will he stay a Tiger, or take his talents to Fayetteville?
