The award was presented by Atlanta Thrashers Fan Club (ATFC) member Kyle.Each month, the ATFC gives its members the opportunity to nominate the player they feel has had the biggest impact in the team's play and success. Peverley received the overwhelming majority of the votes, ultimately leading him to win this month's title. Considering he recorded a total of 13 points (6 goals, 7 assists) in Atlanta's ten October games and went pointless in only one of those ten games, it is easy to see why ATFC members awarded Peverley this honor....
