The Dallas Cowboys (5-4) escaped with 27-23 victory at AT&T Stadium versus the Minnesota Vikings to keep their one game lead in the unpredictable NFC East.

Tony Romo led the Cowboys offense down the field and connected with receiver Dwayne Harris on a 7 yard game winning touchdown pass. Romo was 34 of 51 and threw for 337 yards and two touchdowns. Cowboys tight end Jason Witten also chipped in with eight receptions for 108 yards and one touchdown.

Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder completed 25 of 37 for 236 yards and a touchdown. Adrian Peterson powered thru the Cowboys defense as he rushed for 140 yards on 25 carries.

The no name defensive line of the Cowboys step up when needed once again forcing one fumble by Ponder which was recovered by lineman Nick Hayden in the end zone for a Cowboys touchdown.

Now the Cowboys must focus their attention on the high powered offense of the New Orleans Saints (6-3) at Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
