Penguins’ General Manager Ray Shero, who we affectionately refer to as GMRS, is gonna be one busy dude as the season nears the trade deadline, the playoffs and the eventual offseason. Or, should I say, busier than he usually is. Now most likely there won’t be any sort of a Marian Hossa blockbuster deal this year, although Penguins fans have learned by now that we don’t put anything past GMRS. But there’s not much doubt that Shero will soon face his toughest test yet: Juggling a roster of expiring contracts against an already bursting at the seams Penguins payroll.
