For those wondering why the Ravens were without PINK.
My BFF who happens to be a man, sent the Ravens an email yesterday after the team decided to not support a cause close to my heart.
He sent emails to everyone on the PR staff and here's his reply which is far different than what I received from a player/friend. lol
Here you go...

Jayson,
Thank you for your email. As a team, we made a decision to select one game where every player will wear pink: pink shoes, pink wristbands, pink towels and other pink accessories. The players did not like the notion of some players (typically the best-known players) wear pink shoes, and others don’t. The notion of some, not all, is inconsistent with the concept of team. The players also wanted the “pink” game to be a home game. So, on Sunday against the Broncos, the players, the coaches and the sideline staff will wear pink. We will also honor breast cancer survivors at the game.
Hope that helps and you understand the decision made as a team,
Chad

To Whom It May or Should Concern:I have a best friend who is probably the biggest Baltimore Ravens fan EVER and ironically SHE is a season ticket holder and ironically a HUGE supporter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Occasionally we watch football together and the hurt that she expressed to see that Ravens were the only NFL team yesterday who only displayed a few ribbons on their jackets and decals on their helmets bothered me. After watching all the highlights from yesterdays games, the Ravens were just about the only team where not one player had a pair of pink cleats, a pink towel or a pair of pink gloves. Now I know, winning is important to the team first and foremost, but you have no idea how upset she was. She didn't even want to watch the game. I tried to give the team the benefit of the doubt and convince her that maybe the shipment of pink apparel just didn't get their in time before you left to make the game in Pittsburgh. Anyway, I just wanted to warn you that females do actually support the game of football a lot more than in past years and it would be really wise for the team to have it together by next Sunday. My best friend is an active blogger and supports the Ravens every chance she gets but I think she was very, very disappointed that her favorite team and favorite player (Ray Lewis) didn't take the effort to support her and so many fans', favorite cause. I am expecting some sort of explanation on this issue and again hoping that the situation will be taken care of by next Sunday! :)
Thank You and God Bless
P.S - Even though I myself am a Giants fan, Congrats on the win!
