The Toronto Raptors were lucky Ed Davis slipped to number thirteen in the NBA Draft last night. He will fill the big shoes left by Chris Bosh at power forward.
I expect Davis to do well in Toronto. He will be the starter at power forward for Toronto. Him and Jose Calderon will be a deadly duo a couple years from now.
Don't be surprised if Ed Davis is a candiate for Rookie of The Year next year. He could turn into an immedaite impact player on both offensive and defensive side of the ball.
If Ed Davis can build some muscle on to his slim frame, then we could be talking about a dominant force in the paint. Before Davis injured his arm last year for North Carolina, he was an impact player.
Davis would have filled massive holes for all teams from 9-12, but none of them selected him.
Bryan Colangelo and the Raptors had to be doing backflips when Ed Davis was available for them to draft.
I think people aren't giving Ed Davis a good chance to be a great player in the NBA, but I think he could be a force at power forward.
The Toronto Raptors got a steal at number thirteen in Ed Davis. He will soldify the starting power forward spot with Chris Bosh leaving Toronto.
Overall, I expect Ed Davis to have a great career in Toronto as their starting power forward.
