Rajon Rondo is a champion on the court. He helped lead the Boston Celtics to the 2008 NBA Championship. He was a 2010 All Star and is one of the top Point Guards in the NBA. Rajon is also a champion to his most important fan base, his family.
As you may know by now, Rajon withdrew from Team USA, because of family reasons. His uncle passed away recently and it has been very hard for him ,and his family. Rajon has put his family first. Many players would stayed with Team USA with an opportunity to earn a Gold Medal at the World Championships and put family issues aside until after the tournament. Rajon did the right by wthdrawing from the team and being with his family, when they needed him most. Representing the USA is great honor, however, it is a greater honor to take care of your family in a time of need.
