The Oakland Raiders have finalize a contract agreement with their first round draft pick cornerback D.J. Hayden, reported Thursday.

Source confirms that DJ Hayden has agreed to terms with #Raiders. Hope was he'd be ready to practice. Ultimately, a team decision.

Hayden the 12th pick overall in the 2013 draft looks to start right off the bat for the Raider. The team created major changes to their secondary in the offseason. Not only did the team draft Hayden in in the first round, the Raiders added veteran safety Charles Woodson  and cornerbacks Tracy Porter and Mike Jenkins

When May rolled around Hayden had  abdominal surgery , but head coach Dennis Allen insisted he will be back with the Raiders by training camp.

Earlier last season while Hayden attended the University of Houston as a senior, he suffered a serious blood vessel injury, but was able to recover, and he is now is widely believed as one of the top cornerbacks in the 2013 NFL Draft Class.
