Yes. It is a dream come true for any Phillies fan. So much so that anywhere you went: food court, holiday party, cafeteria, barber shop...all anyone was talking about was good old Clifford.

This has to be the greatest free agent moment in sports history.  A stud pitcher who could have named his price, turned down the evil empire, the Yankees, to sign with a team and city he fell in love with.  He WANTED to be here.  Who ever would have thought those words would have been uttered?

Think of this rotation: Roy Halladay.  Cliff Lee.  Roy Oswalt.  Cole Hamels.  Random who cares #5 starter.  Do you know what a 4 ace rotation like that equals?  A sweep any time the Phils come to town.  In 2007, our top four pitchers were, in this order: Cole Hamels, Kyle Kendrick, Jamie Moyer, Kyle Lohse.  Even the year they won the World Series: Cole Hamels, Brett Myers, Jamie Moyer, and Joe Blanton.  The most dominant pitching staffs in history only had 3 good starters (save for the 20 game winners for the Orioles).

I'm not going to go into nerd numbers like WAR and everything else.  All I can say is that this city is buzzing.  Facebook is littered with pictures of these guys as famous wrestling foursomes and apostles hovering over a baby jesus.  If Amaro can even slightly balance this lineup with an righty bat in the outfield, this team is going to win 100 games, going away.

Welcome back Clliff.  We missed you.  We loved you.  We never stopped loving you.  To a T, every Phillies fan rooted their ass off for you in the World Series.  Welcome home.
