Rather than partaking in the postseason activities, the New York Islanders are golfing, as they have in six of their past seven seasons; however, they say the best deals get done on the golf course, where Islanders General Manager Garth Snow may or may not have been when he put the Islanders at the forefront of the hockey world on Thursday.In one swift Tweet, TSN's Bob McKenzie, among others, announced that the Islanders acquired the negotiating rights with goaltender Jaroslav Halak from the Washington Capitals in exchange for a 4th round pick.
