At age 72 Baseball Great Pete (Charlie Hustle) Rose deserves a second chance. Pete Rose made some mistakes betting on Major League Baseball. In 2004 Rose came clean that he bet on baseball and not his Cincinnati Reds team. He had previously been for lifetime by late Baseball Commissioner Bart Giamatti on August 24, 1989. Commissioner Giamatti stated Rose could reapply to baseball after one year. Commissioner Giamatti would die of health related issues just eight days later on September 1, 1989. We have current players that use Performance Enhancement Drugs only receive 50-200 games suspensions are allowed to and play again. Current Commissoner Bud Selig needs to allow Charlie Hustle back.
