Paul Pierce to Have His Jersey Retired

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Paul Pierce will have his jersey retired by Inglewood High School on Tuesday, September 21st. The ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. in the school auditorium and is not open to the public.
In his junior year, Paul led Inglewood High to a 30 win season and a Division Championship. He was the Top High School Basketball Prospect in California during his senior season. He played in the 1995 McDonald's All-American Game alongside his current Celtic teammate Kevin Garnett.
I want to congratulate Paul on this honor and simply say, "You're the best".
