I would like to announce that redsoxandbruins.com will no longer be just covering the Boston Bruins and Red Sox. We will now be covering the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots. We will be adding on a new columnist to the site. The new writer will be announced shortly.
However this is how it will work, I will mainly cover the Red Sox and Bruins with some additional Patriots coverage as well. The new writer will mainly cover the Patriots and Celtics with some additional Patriots coverage. Of course I could at anytime write about the Celtics, and our new writer could write about the B’s.
I already have a person in mind for the job, we just have to get him going. Once he/she is all set I will make the announcement of who they are. I want to make it somewhat of a surprise.
We still may be looking to add another columnist here at redsoxandbruins.com. We want to cover all of New England Sports and the more writers we have the better. I am thinking of adding on one more blogger to cover the 4 sports that will be around the Boston area year round. I am in Amherst during the school year which is 2 hours way, which limits the amounts of games I can attend. Eventually we are hoping to get press passes for sporting events so I will be somewhat limited in games I can attend. I have been able to get 2 passes to sox games with the newspaper I am interning with, but trying to get one through here could present a problem. We will have to wait and see. At somepoint once the site has gotten even bigger I am looking to add an insider that will just cover one team... So hopefully we can get the site even bigger!!
