After Pittsburgh failed to get it done at Madison Square Garden in the Big East Tournament, chances were unlikely that the Panthers would accept the invitation to play in the NIT Tournament let alone not get invited.

However, Pitt was so porous this season, they didn't even get invited to the NIT. Instead of just forgetting about playing in a tournament to end the season, the Panthers decided to accept an invitation to play in the CBI Tournament.

It's hard to believe that a program like the Panthers would dip this low to play in a tournament like this but that's exactly what they did. They will host Wofford on Wednesday.

Other notable teams in the tournament include Butler, Washington State, San Francisco and Penn.

If you thought this season was frustrating enough, I think it just got worse.
