First off, I apologize for not being able to write a recap of the Packers vs. Bears game on Monday Night. However, as a Packer fan, I don't really feel it needs much of an explanation.
All you need to say is 18 penalties and that just about accurately summarizes the Packers legitimately beating themselves in Soldier Field.
"U-G-L-Y...you ain't got no alibi"- Thank you Daphne and Celeste for those heartwarming and fitting lyrics.
As for the Packers game today against the Lions, I think the Packers will be back to firing on all cylinders, which spells trouble for the Matthew Stafford-less Lions offense.
Shaun Hill is not nearly as good a quarterback as Stafford and there is a possibility standout rookie Jahvid Best may not be able to play either or at least will have a limited role.
No matter what the case, I don't see any possible scenario for the Packers losing this game.
The Lions will be trying to end a 22-game losing streak on the road, while also trying to end a 19-game losing streak in Wisconsin.
The Packers, meanwhile, have won 9 consecutive games over the lowly Lions and beat them 26-0 last season.
I believe the Packers will hopefully reduce their mistakes (being at Lambeau will help immensely) and easily knock off the Lions as Aaron Rodgers has a big day picking apart the Lions secondary.
Packers 34, Lions 13
