IT'S OVER --- UW 82-70.

SLOWING DOWN --- Having computer issues forcing me to slow down on the thread and focus on writing the game story. UW 70-55 at 6:53.

BIG SHOT --- Overton drained a much-needed three-pointer. UW 61-49.

IT'S A GAME AGAIN --- Schaftenaar is putting his head down and charging to the rim. He's gettign fouls on Bryan-Amaning. The crowd is back into it. UW 58-49.

TV TIMEOUT --- UW 58-45 at 11:45.

HOW MANY REBOUNDS WAS THAT? --- I counted four putbacks before Gaddy finally scored on a layup. That's going to help the stats. UW 46-31.

OSU TIMEOUT --- It's starting to get out of hand. Thomas sank a reverse layup giving UW a 44-29 lead at 17:39.

WOW --- Those looking for improvement from Gaddy should note his early layup in the second half when he made a strong move to rim, took hard foul from Cunningham, absorbed the contact and finished the layup. He also sank the ensuing free throw. UW 42-29.

GOOD START --- Holiday found Bryan-Amaning for an alley-oop dunk. UW 39-29 at 19:08.

SECOND HALF --- Same starters for UW. OSU is starting Burton in place of Deane.

HALFTIME OBSERVATIONS --- The Huskies have firm control of the game largely because Thomas has given them 11 points and he's finding holes in the OSU 1-3-1 defense. Bryan-Amaning (12 points) has also been outstanding and Pondexter (8) is playing a supporting role at this point. UW is shooting 55.2 percent.

The Beavers get a lot of attention for their defense, but the Huskies have exhibited the superior so far. They've fronted Schaftenaar, denying him passes in the post and they've stayed close to Haynes who has six points.

HALFTIME STATS --- Click here.

HALFTIME --- UW 37-29.

THOMAS TAKING OVER --- The little guy is unstoppable. He's too fast for any of the Beavers and he's fearless when attacking the rim. He sank a layup over 6-11 Schaftenaar who seemed afraid to collect another foul. UW 33-23 at 2:25.

UW'S DEFENSE DIGS IN --- Feels like UW is taking control defensively. OSU is scoreless on four straight trips. Meanwhile, Thomas has scored the last seven points. UW 27-21 at 3:49.

HARD FOUL --- Thomas fell hard after his layup was blocked and h was fouled. He connected on one of two free throws. UW 23-21.

SCHAFTENAAR LIMPING --- At 6:25, Schaftenaar walked off the court limping. OSU trainers took him into the locker room. UW 22-21.

OSU LEADS --- J.Tarver gave the Beavers their first lead after scoring on a running short hook over Elston Turner and sinking a free throw. OSU 21-20 at 6:51.

CROWD GOES WILD --- Joe Burton scored on a putback that brought the crowd to life. Apparently, Tyreese Breshers is no longer the first big man off the bench. Darnell Gant subbed in before he did. Breshers is now and he corralled a loose ball and knocked down a free throw. Thomas sank a layup. UW 20-16 at 8:20.

LOW-SCORING GAME --- If the Huskies break 60 points, I'd be surprised. OSU has turned it into a halfcourt game. It's all about executing offense at this point. UW 17-14 at 9:46.

ABOUT GILL COLISEUM --- Great old building. It's old. Sixty-years. Still, the video boards on each end of the building are great. This place has character. But it doesn't have elevators and that would be nice. Especially if you have to climb three flight of stairs to get to press row.

DECENT CROWD --- OSU receives the worst fan support in the Pac-10, averaging 6,147 in attendance this season. Still, it's a good crowd today.

OVERTON PICKS UP SECOND FOUL --- Overton has two fouls and he's on the bench. Gaddy is in. UW 13-10 at 13:40.

TV TIMEOUT --- Good start for UW. Feels kind of strange knowing the Huskies will face the Beavers again next week if they win. UW 10-5 at 15:54.

FIRST SUB --- Venoy Overton is in for Gaddy. UW 8-5.

BACK IN BLACK --- Forgot to mention, the Huskies are wearing their black jerseys. UW is 1-1 in their alternative jerseys.

STARTERS --- No change for UW: Matthew Bryan-Amaning, Quincy Pondexter, Abdul Gaddy, Isaiah Thomas and Justin Holiday.

OSU: Schaftenaar, S.Tarver, Jared Cunningham, Calvin Haynes and Daniel Deane.

FINAL IN BERKLEY --- Cal beat Stanford and won Pac-10 outright. Stanford falls to the seventh seed and everything we had earlier is correct.

Here's a recap: If UW wins, the Huskies play Oregon State next week in the conference tourney. If UW loses, the Huskies play UCLA. The game is 6 p.m. Thursday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

BACK ON TV --- FSN is televising the game tonight. Rich Burk has the play-by-play and Lamar Hurd, the former Beaver, is the analyst.

BEAVER CEREMONY --- OSU is honoring its seniors in a pre-game ceremony. The seniors are Calvin Hampton, Roeland Schaftenaar and Seth and Josh Tarver.

UPDATE ON SEEDINGS --- Been working with Don Ruiz at the TNT and Brian Tom at UW and this is what we've figured out; if UW wins the Huskies play Oregon State next week in the conference tourney. If UW loses, the Huskies play UCLA.

There's only one disclaimer, we didn't include Stanford into the scenario. If the Cardinal beats California tonight, then discount everything you just read. Last I checked, Cal led by five with six minutes left. We'll continue with the updates.

SEEDING DETERMINED --- The Huskies are locked into the third seed for the Pac-10 Tournament by virtue of Arizona State winning earlier today.
