It seems whoever is linked to Oregon's coaching vacancy winds up denying the rumors and getting a contract extension from his school.

First it was Minnesota's Tubby Smith, then it was Mark Turgeon, a former Oregon assistant, who received an extension from Texas A&M after his named was mentioned as a possible UO coach.

And now it's Pittsburgh's Jamie Dixon. On Wednesday, the school announced Dixon has a new deal that extends until 2018.

Not sure where Oregon goes now.

The Ducks have not asked for permission to speak with Gonzaga's Mark Few and contrary to popular belief Nike founder Phil Knight has not been actively involved in the coaching search.
