A quick start by both the Fronts and Battalion have them #1 and #2 in the East with a logjam forming behind them early on.  In the Western Conference, Guelph is just a nose ahead of the Greyhounds, Attack and Otters.

This week the Hounds go on a lengthy Eastern Ontario road trip for their three games.  Erie gets to finally host their home opener in their only action of the week. Guelph hosts the Attack and gets a 'must see' rematch at London before they travel to Oshawa to complete their schedule.

The Battalion will be on the road again this week (6 games so far with another 3 on the road) and have yet to play a regular season home game. Kingston plays at Belleville and then hosts the 67's and the Greyhounds. Last place Niagara hosts the Battalion and then ventures on the road to Sarnia and Windsor for their 'battle of the basement'.
