The Edmonton Oilers may very well end up with the top pick in the NHL Draft again, and there's one player GM Steve Tambellini knows well: forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.  However, TSN's Darren Dreger reports that Tambellini still needs to watch forwards Gabriel Landeskog and Sean Couturier before being sure of anything.  Also, Dreger writes that Tambellini could also be scouting d-man Dougie Hamilton and forwards Ryan Strome and Jonathan Huberdeau.  But at the No. 1 spot, Nugent-Hopkins, Landeskog and Couturier appear to be the front-runners. Also, defenseman Adam Larsson might be a possibility.

My take:  I am well aware of the deep pool of talent that this year's draft features; as a diehard Edmonton Oilers fan, I would welcome any of the above...
