Rapid Fire Friday edition .... here goes !

London at Guelph
The premier matchup for the night …. Both teams will use this match as a litmus test to measure how they ‘stack up’ in preparation for the playoffs.  Guelph was not dominant vs. the Icedogs last night (winning 4-2) – maybe they were saving something for this matchup.  The game will be broadcast on Sportsnet so I predict that broadcasters will say ‘draft’ or ‘eligible’ 32 times throughout the game.
London by 2 goals.

Oshawa at Kingston
#1 Oshawa visiting #3 Kingston – teams are separated by 6 points. Kingston on a 4 game win streak – Oshawa has only won 4 games in their past 10 matches.
Fronts by 1
Plymouth at Sarnia
#8 Whalers at #10 Sting.  Teams are 5 points apart in the standings.  Anthony DeAngelo comes off his suspension tonight and will be tearing it up on the ice !!
Sting by 2 goals

Ottawa at Saginaw
The 67’s ripped apart the Spitfires last night 8 to 3 – would be nice for them to put together a little run here to extend their 2 game winning streak.  Saginaw has their own 2 game winning streak to defend on home ice.
Ottawa in OT

Niagara at Kitchener
The Icedogs put up a good fight last night as they hosted the very experienced Guelph Storm – limited them to 7 shots total in the last 2 periods.  Top line played well. Return of Ming to his former Rangers team.  Kitchener with some new bodies in the lineup and will sorely miss top scorer Faksa.

Erie at Owen Sound
The Otters look to extend their lead in the league with the Guelph Storm only 3 points behind.  Erie has a record of 3-0-1-0 after a losing streak during the WJHC.  Owen Sound traded away Smith and MacDermid so there will be lots of playing time for their developing players.  MacDermid will be greeted positively to his former home ice.

Mississauga at Sudbury
The Steelheads planned for the future with their current trade dealings – Carrick gets to play against his former team.  Faksa gives the Wolves premier scoring (if they really needed it). The Wolves are 9-1-0-0 in their past ten games – Mississauga is 3-6-0-1 in their past 10 games.
