On the second night of the NFL Draft (a night in which the Montreal Canadiens’ playoff game is actually on television too!), I’m off to attend a baseball game. The sport I commonly point out I’m not a fan of. I’m pushing aside the amalgamation of college and professional football (and possibly the selections of Nate Allen, Carlos Dunlap, Aaron Hernandez, Carlton Mitchell, Jerome Murphy, and Brandon Spikes) and a hockey game that could end the Habs’ season. All for baseball.To a certain point, I do enjoy baseball. After all, it’s a sporting competition that has more statistics than probably any other. A young, on-the-rise team resides in the city I live and the game’s greatest franchise trains here. For a few months in the summer, it’s all we have. And, like chicks, I dig the long ball....
