In a couple of hours, NXT will hit the airwaves. By the end of the show, we will find out who the next eliminated participant will be. While I find this season's talent pool to be greatly diminished when compared to season 1, there is still a discrepancy between the top tier talent and the bottom tier on the show. For me though, there is one man that needs to be eliminated tonight.
The last time polls were released, Titus O'Neill was eliminated and Husky Harris was the closest to danger outside of Titus. Husky has continued to establish himself as an excellent heel..........which may not obtain him the fan vote. However, he should not be eliminated given how much talent and charisma oozes out of his chubby pores. The man that needs to go is Eli Cottonwood and it's really not that close.
Eli has shown that his only value is unintential comedy and simply looking weird. Had Eli debuted as a monster on one of the main show, perhaps with a mask or weird outfit, he might have made an impact. For a reality show though, he is an awful contestant, as his mic skills are minimal and his in ring ability is passable at best. He is a prime example of one of the major downfalls of the NXT concept, or at very least, someone who shouldn't have been utilized for that concept. I can't imagine him making it past tonight, but if I'm wrong, I'll certainly eat my words. I mean, no one can honestly argue with me that Eli is a top competitor in this thing, can they? We'll find out tonight at 10 if my NXT predictions are as good as my Pay Per View ones (6 out of 7 last show!).
