No Better Fit For The U, Than the Pirate

The University of Miami has always carried the baggage of being the villains of college football. They do it better than anyone. Why not embrace this role and become relevant once again. The only way for this to happen is to hire the Pirate, Mike Leach. It is a match made in heaven. Miami has lost its swagger and not to mention its recruiting grip on the greater Miami area. A Leach hiring would fix the swagger and recruiting overnight.
In ten seasons as the head coach at Texas Tech, Leach made them relevant. He did it by recruiting the players that Texas, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma did not recruit. He was smart enough to realize Texas Tech could not win the recruiting battle against those schools. Leach created an offensive scheme that allowed for many third-tier type prospects to step in and contribute at the division one level. There is no better offensive mind in the country. He always gets his players to buy into a system. His offenses are a machine. If you surround Leach with a good defensive coordinator and top high school talent, the Pirate would hold college football for ransom.
The city of Miami is famous for the athletes it produces. Leach and his offense could cherry pick any recruit from that city and thus take college football by storm. How many blue chip kids would love to play in that type of offense? I assure you that it would be scary by the third year of a Pirate take over in South Beach. The city would love it and college football needs it.
