This weekend I spent my time at some of the NFL Players Association's Rookie Debut Events. I have some press conference videos and many one-on-one interviews with the top draft picks, a new Football Hall of Fame inductee, a Toronto Blue Jays pitcher, and even Knicks star Landry Fields. I will present the new "NFLPA Rookie Debut Two-A-Days." Each day, you will be presented with two new interviews from the events, some video and some on a pre-recorded version of my radio show.
First is DeMaurice Smith. DeMaurice Smith is the Executive Director of the NFL Players Association. DeMaurice Smith is the man behind all of the players you watch on Sunday or play in Madden as. Some say De Smith has the toughest job in sports, especially with the labor situation that he speaks about in the video, but he loves his job. Follow him on Twitter @DeSmithNFLPA
Next is Rahim Moore. Rahim and I met when he was a second team Walter Camp All-American in 2010. We caught up again prior to Rahim hearing his name called by Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe at the 45th pick of the NFL Draft. The UCLA safety led the nation with 10 interceptions will bring his humor and skill to the Denver Broncos this season (and there will be a season).
[If the Rahim Moore video below is cut off, press the top of the video on the title that is there to see it full.]
Shoutout to Mike Hirschbein of FanVsFan (@FanVsFan) for joining me at the events (He asked the Rex Ryan question at the end of the Rahim Interview), Joey Santana for taking some awesome pictures at the events, and my dad for driving me into the city for all this. Thanks to all of you guys!
