Here is a link to a NY Times article of some of the new NFL concussion protocol changes that are to be implemented. With the recent rash of head injuries to star players it has helped push these changes along much faster.Unfortunately, I agree with the part of the article that more players may choose to hide symptoms from team and independent doctors that will be used. In the future with the advance of technology maybe handheld devices can be used on the sideline that measure normal and abnormal brain activity. As much as I love watching and cheering for the NFL I have great concern for the head injury issues.
