Today, a few members of the Boston Celtics were at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy, MA for the Celtics annual Shamrock Golf Tournament. Ray Allen, Nate Robinson, Oliver Lafayette, Doc Rivers, and Danny Ainge were some of the notables in attendance at the event.
Our man Chris Forsberg from ESPN Boston had his video camera rolling at the event and captured some footage of Nate, Oliver, and Danny on the putting green. Needless to say, Nate has a lot to do to get his putting stroke picture perfect (see video at bottom of page).
Nate, if you're reading this holla' at me. I have three years of varsity experience under my belt, and I may just be able to give you enough pointers to compete with Ray Allen out there. At the worse, I gurantee I can get you to play well enough to beat Doc.
First things first, though, you can't be moving your hole body around when you putt. Putting is all in the arms, man. All that leg movement and body twisting is just making the ball go places you don't want it to go. If you want more golfing lessons just send me over a tweet @GinosJungle.
