Steve Arpin earned his first career Camping World Truck Series pole on Friday afternoon.
It was only his fifth career start but it comes in record setting speed with a lap of 30.7 seconds, 175.5 MPH. 11 drivers broke the track record in qualifying for the Fast Five 225 on Friday night.
Kevin Harvick will be looking to make it three wins in a row in the CWTS as he will start second. Parker Kligerman backed up his fast practice speeds with a solid third place qualifying effort.
The rest of the top 10 were Ricky Carmichael, Austin Dillon, James Buescher, Cole Whitt, Todd Bodine, Miguel Paludo and Matt Crafton.
Kyle Busch who held the old track record for this race will start 14th for the race alongside him is the second place driver in the points, Johnny Sauter.
Timothy Peters who actually had electrical issues just prior to his qualifying lap would start 24th for the race.
Wayne Edwards and Charlie Vest did not qualify for the race.
