Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga was arrested in late January for driving under the influence. He immediately pleaded guilty and checked himself into rehab.
The second year Bengals linebacker said that it was a life changing experience for him and he apologized to his fans and teammates for adding to the Bengals embarrasing troubles with the law.
Maualuga will be fined two pay checks by the league, but NFL commissioner decided against suspension.
This is due partly to his willingness to cooperate with the league in openly checking into rehab.
Maualuga wasn't the only one with drama off the field Benson too avoided suspension, the difference was the Bengals star running back was only alleged of hitting someone.
Hopefully the rest of the team stays out of trouble so they can cause havok on the field rather than off of it.
