Corey Crawford turned aside 29 of 30 shots and Patrick Kane scored a goal and added an assist for the Blackhawks Monday in a 5-1 win over Minnesota. Brandon Saad, Sheldon Brookbank and Patrick Sharp also contributed goals.
Niklas Backstrom allowed five goals on 28 shots and Jason Pominville scored the only Minnesota in their 5-1 loss.

Michal Neuvirth stopped 38 of 41 shots and Jason Chimera had a goal and an assist in Washington's 3-2 loss. Mikhail Grabovski also scored for the Capitals.
