Stars 4 Sabres 3

Kari Lehtonen allowed three goals on 25 shots and Tyler Seguin scored a goal and added an assist for the Stars in a 4-3 win over Buffalo Monday night. Jamie Benn, Alex Goligoski and Vernon Fiddler also scored goals for Dallas. 

Ryan Miller stopped 25 shots and Matt Moulson registered a pair of goals in his first game as a Sabre. Steve Ott had the other goal and Tyler Ennis generated two assists in the loss. 

 

Penguins 3 Hurricanes 1

Marc-Andre Fleury allowed just one goal on 21 shots and Sidney Crosby picked up two assists for the Penguins in Monday's 3-1 win over the Hurricanes. Chris Kunitz, Tanner Glass and Jayson Megna all scored for the Pens.

Justin Peters allowed three goals on 29 shots and Nathan Gerbe scored the only goal for Carolina in a 3-1 loss to Pittsburgh. 

 

Canadians 2 Rangers 0

Peter Budaj stopped all 27 shots he faced and Alex Galchenyuk scored a goal for Montreal in a 2-0 shutout win over the New York Rangers Monday. Tomas Plekanec also scored for the Habs.

Henrik Lundqvist allowed two goals on 27 shots and Brian Boyle led the Rangers with 4 shots in a 2-0 loss to the Canadians. 

 

Blackhawks 5 Wild 1

Corey Crawford turned aside 29 of 30 shots and Patrick Kane scored a goal and added an assist for the Blackhawks Monday in a 5-1 win over Minnesota. Brandon Saad, Sheldon Brookbank and Patrick Sharp also contributed goals. 

Niklas Backstrom allowed five goals on 28 shots and Jason Pominville scored the only Minnesota in their 5-1 loss.

 

Canucks 3 Capitals 2

Roberto Luongo turned aside 17 of 19 shots and Daniel Sedin scored a goal and registered an assist in Vancouver's 3-2 win over Washington. Ryan Kesler and Zach Kassian scored the Canucks other goals.

Michal Neuvirth stopped 38 of 41 shots and Jason Chimera had a goal and an assist in Washington's 3-2 loss. Mikhail Grabovski also scored for the Capitals.
