This is a feature that I used to do and now that I have my own blog it is back up and running. This is basically a profile on someone who had a great weekend in the ring.
The first installment is focusing on Alexander Frenkel. He won the EBU cruiserweight title and had the knockout of the weekend against Enzo Maccarinelli. Record: 23-0-0 (18 KO) Ring Ranking: Not Ranked Age: 25 Height: 6’1” Stance: Orthodox Best Wins: Arthur Williams (TKO 5), Michael Simms (UD 8), Enzo Maccarinelli (KO 7 Won EBU title) Losses: None Titles Won: IBF youth cruiserweight title, EBU (European) cruiserweight title (current) Rounds Boxed: 81 KO Percentage: 78.26 % Fight I Want to See: I would love to see him fight Marco Huck. He became the mandatory to the WBO title and that is the title held by Huck. It would be an all German showdown between two 25 year old big hitters. It would surely end in a knockout and be entertaining. What is in his future: He just fought this weekend so there is no word on what is next for him. His team will probably try to secure a fight with Huck.
It should be noticed however that his resume lacks big name fighters so a fight with a veteran who isn’t totally shot would make sense as well.
