Mike Tisdale wants to make it clear that his goal is to succeed at the highest level possible next year.
He has made that very clear so far this offseason by adding 17 pounds to his lean body.
When the season came to a conclusion, Tisdale was at 228 pounds; now he is at 245 pounds.
Gaining weight is something that has been extremely diffiucult for Tisdale in the past, but he has a nutritionist working very hard with him to help him gain some extra weight.
He is trying to consume 250 grams of protein a day and his calorie intake per day is 6,000 to 7,000.
To contribute to the extra food Tisdale is gulping down, he has been working extremely hard in the weight room and has gradually been getting better.
Tisdale says his goal is to reach 250 pounds by the time the season starts next year.
It's not only Tisdale who has been working hard in the weight room--it's every single person on the basketball team.
They all are trying to ultimately reach the goal Tyler Griffey had posted in his locker not long after their defeat to Dayton in the NIT quarterfinals: "Houston 2011."
