The Dolphins and Packers have released their full inactive list for their 1 pm eastern showdown at Lambeau Field.
Miami Dolphins: QB Tyler Thigpen (3rd QB), WR Marlon Moore, TE Jeron Mastrud, T Patrick Brown, G John Jerry, DE Jared Odrick, DE Robert Rose, LB Austin Spitler
Green Bay: TE Jermichael Finley, OL Marshall Newhouse, T Mark Tauscher, G Nick McDonald, DE Ryan Pickett, DE Mike Neal, LB Brandon Chillar, LB Clay Matthews
With Jerry and Odrick out, Pat McQuistan will get his 3rd straight start at right guard, as well as Odrick being absent today, Randy Starks will slide over to defensive end for the fourth straight game, thus inserting Paul Solia as the starting nose tackle for the game.
Some matchups to watch today are Ronnie Brown against the Packers run defense. This very well could be Brown's breakout game, with Packers linebacker Clay Matthews being ruled out. Look for the Dolphins to try and control the pace of the game with Brown, as he is averaging 4.7 yards per carry so far this season.
Also look out for Davone Bess running wild in the slot. With Charles Woodson lining up against Brandon Marshall, and Marshall gaining a lot of attention, look for Bess to duplicate what he did to the Patriots and Jets, and cause matchup problems against safeties and linebackers.
My last matchup for todays game is Cameron Wake lining up across from rookie right tackle Bryan Bulaga for the Packers. Wake has rushed the passer 116 times this season, and has actually pressured the quarterback once every 6.4 snaps. Last week against the Redskins, Bulaga in his first career start gave up a pressure every 8.8 snaps, in 53 chances against the pass rush. This could be Wake's coming out game, along with Brown's. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is already banged up this season, and for Wake to get to him early and often much like he did against Tom Brady and the Patriots in the first half of that game, it could be a long day for Rodgers and the Packers offense.
