The Yankees had an opportunity to win last night against the White Sox, but the save was blown by David Robertson. Do I blame David Robertson? No. Should you? No. Why? Because to be perfectly honest, the Yankees shouldn't have put DRob in that situation in the first place. With the offense we have, we shouldn't have to try to scratch together runs, game after game. But we are, and it's a problem.You know why I love DRob? Because the guy's a man's man. He stood tall in the post game as deflated as he was, he talked to reporters and said, "It's on me."
