I thought it was interesting that while many of our 1986 Mets were gathering so were some 1986 Astros.

Mike Scott:

“I will never forget when we clinched the division on my no-hitter. I also remember when the Mets got the last out on us in Game 6 of the NLCS to beat us. It did not even cross my mind that our season would be done until that happened. It just kind of hit me. I never considered that. It was day-by-day with the attitude of, “Let’s beat these guys and go play in the World Series.’

“That hit pretty hard.”
