So for some reason (and we may never know why) Marvin Williams smacked the back of Shawne Williams' head. Shawne who apparently is not scared to fight anyone turned around and squared up with Marvin. We don't know what else lead up to this but clearly Marvin started the fight and looks like the wuss in this fight.
If they ever got in the squared circle and Mouth of the South Shore was breaking them down on http://mouthofthesouthshore.com my money would be on Williams....Shawne Williams.
Also the fact that Shawne is doing well at more then just shooting threes lately (grabbing rebounds and playing solid d and not backing down from a fight) he has really earned my respect. I thought he was just on the team because Donnie Walsh wanted to prove he was right for drafting him while running the Pacers....man was I wrong Shawne can play.
All and all it was good to see a nice NBA fight that didn't get out of hand. In hockey they stop the game to let them fight but in the NBA they are a bunch of thugs right? NOOOO!!! A little fight in the NBA once in a while is not a bad thing it is fun to watch and it also inspires unity between teammates.
