On Wednesday night, the Vancouver Canucks showed off their depth.  First-period goals by Christopher Higgins and Jannik Hansen were all the offense the Presidents' Trophy winning Canucks would need to secure Game One against their nemesis, the Chicago Blackhawks. Roberto Luongo was the game story the rest of the way, stopping all 32 shots he faced.  This was a true clinic on world-class goaltending displayed by Luongo.  Roberto has told reporters for many months now that his game has never felt better at the NHL level; last night was evidence of that.

The Vancouver Canucks are happy with the win, I have no doubt about that.  But if any team should know that a series is not decided in one game, it's these Vancouver Canucks.  This victory marks three years in a row...
