Lisa DeLeeuw would battle hard throughout the entire 25 lap feature at Sunset Speedway to finish 16th in the feature.

DeLeeuw started off the night by finishing eighth in her first heat, followed by a seventh in her second heat.

She would start 20th in the feature and would avoid trouble in the first 10 laps to move up to the 19th position. She continued to race hard and avoided trouble on the next two cautions to move into 17th by the lap 15 caution. She then slipped into 16th on lap 19.

In the next couple of laps, she would drop back a couple spots due to trying to get down out of the way of the leaders, who ere coming to lap her on lap 22. On the final lap, though, she got back by Chris Free, Brandon Passer and Wendy Adams to come home with a 16th place finish.

Currently, she sits 15th in points despite her motor problems at the beginning of the season.
