Pedro Moura of ESPN Los Angeles has reported that USC linebacker Jordan Campbell, a redshirt junior, will be the first Trojan to opt for transfer following last weeks sanctions in light of the NCAA's waiver of the redshirt bench year. The good news is the loss of Campbell is not a major impediment to the Trojan squad. Campbell has mainly been a career backup & special teamer with only 17 tackles combined in 2008 & 2009. Furthermore, his character has been a question at USC, with Kiffin punishing during spring practice for an unspecified violation.
